The DCWV Homespun stack is a great paper choice for layouts with a happy-go-lucky feel. With the embellishments already printed on this page is was easy to just mat the photos and string a couple banners. I got a little help from my Sew-Easy for the second banner!

Triple Scoop

I love these photos of my three kiddos but they don't really lend themselves to a title. Hubby suggested I call it Candy and Chores because in one they are facing me and the other ignoring me. Ummmm, thanks for that. But it did get me thinking how sweet they can be and what a great day that was. So I settled on an ice cream reference:

DCWV Tradewinds Stack is full of classic designs and warm tones. It's like stepping into a private library with leather furniture and a crackling fire. With just a few embellishments this stack turns out beautiful cards for any occasion. 

For this card I added a grunge board key and imported gold trim.

Another grunge board key combined with pearls and a flower.

This time a giant grunge board key with snipets of gold ribbon.

Swap Box

I participated in the fall swap box exchange with my facebook group, Crafty Enablers. My package arrived yesterday, but I was at night class and didn't see it till this morning. I was thrilled to open by package and pull out all these goodies!!!!

I LOVE the colors of Glitz:Dance in Sunshine paper line and am even MORE in love with kraft paper. But that one piece of kraft, standing in the back...the one covered with glittery butterflies and flowers? That is my ultimate fav from this entire box of yummy supplies!!! 

What a pleasant surprise to wake up to!

Octagon Gift Card Holder

It's time to start thinking about holiday gift giving. For all those distant relatives and friends a simple solution is a gift card or two. But sometimes that just doesn't seem like enough. Here's a fun project that will turn a ho-hum gift card into

 "Wowza! That's for me!!!"

This little card holder measures 4.25 by 6.5 inches and has three seperate "pages" for gift cards.

The pages are sewn into the binding and feature a window made from a transparency.

Not only can the front be decorated to taste, the inside cover has space for extra embellishing.

Don't let this project fool you, although it looks complicated it is fairly simple to put together and doesn't require any special tools. Please follow the link below, instructions will be posted at 10:00am.
