~ This Old Truck ~
I used a CTMH sketch and supplies for this layout of childhood memories. We spent hours playing on this truck.
Thanks to my brother for taking these great photos of this classic farm truck. He's the handsome fella in the photo below!

Naiad

These sepia tone photos of my water baby enjoying the falls are definite favorites of mine. She looks so happy splashing in the foam. The words to the right of the photos are multi-national words for mermaid.

Christmas is in the Air

A pair of square Christmas cards today.
I love the bird journaling card from WP's Botanical Christmas line. They are just the perfect size for Christmas cards. I tried a ribbon frame and gold lace rose for the first card. Not satisfied with the glitz effect I attempted a second card.
This time I used the shiny side of the red ribbon and added a frame with the gold lace
as well as a row of red gems.

Paper:DCWV
Journal Cards:Webster's Pages

You are my Favorite

I love Petaloo's glitter tipped Hydrangea flowers. I cluster them on any layout that calls for a little velvet panache. This photo of my 3 famorite people was definately the right type.

Happy Mail

What could be more fun than opening up
a mail box full of packages!!!
My scrappy friends and I have been busily selling our unwanted scrapping supplies and tools to each other. These unused items have been finding they are wanted after all and we are finding new uses for them. Here are some of the items
I have recently purchased. The punch
on the end is a gift from my Mama.
If you have perfectly good supplies that just aren't being used look around for an internet group and start recycling! This is a great time of year to unload some of those goodies!

Full of Wonder

I had so much fun with the Kiwi Lane Designs cloud template (Celebrate 5) that I just couldn't put it down! I used it to ink the clouds above the photo and sand dunes below using a Scrapbook Steals Tutorial by Becci Manies. Then I alternated it's shape using white and blue cardstock to immitate the motion of waves. Finally I traced it several times in a row to make the detailed border beneath the photo strip.

Fountain Side Chat

Echo Park's Victoria Gardens has such summery colors and classy designs that it was the perfect go-to for these park photos. I combined it with a great sketch by my friend Deborah Johnson. This combination delivered a happy-go-lucky page with fun details.
