Seven

Birthday celebrations at our house today!
My youngest was so pleased to discover he was born on the same day...though not the same month...as his Dad and his Sister.
Mama got SKILLS!!!
~ Seven ~
The "7" was elsewhere on the paper. I cut it out, popped it up, and framed it with a ledger print.
Quick Tip: The multiple patterns make this card look more complex then it really is.

Supplies:
Paper:Bella Blvd, Fancy Pants, Craftsmith

Hello Spring

Spring has sprung!!!
Which means some days it is sunny and others it pours rain.
Kreaxions Punch #912 has the perfect graphic for this season.
~Hello Spring~
The flower is made using a strip of paper punched with #912. I inked the edges then curled the paper into a circle. I slipped one end under and hot-glued it to the front of my card.
This is the perfect flower to make from scraps.

Supplies:
Paper:My Minds Eye, Craftsmith
Sentiment:Authentique
Cork:American Crafts
Enamel Dot:Echo Park

Life Is a Gift

I'm thankful every morning for running water.
I'm thankful for indoor plumbing.
I'm thankful for a sturdy house and reliable vehicle.
I'm thankful for all my friends, crafty and otherwise!!!
Sometimes it's necessary to slow down and remember:
~ Life is a Gift ~
Crafting with Kreaxions punches is the quickest way to custom make paper doilies. A plethora of designs and sizes are just a circle cutter and punch away. Keeping a few paper doilies on hand allows for quick card making. I keep a sweet little bin with paper accessories ready on my crafting desk. Try it out, see if you can squeeze just a few more minutes to craft out of your day!

Paper:My Minds Eye, Craftsmith
Sequins:Lawn Fawn
Brads and Enamel Dots:Echo Park

Shine Bright

A little bit of layering and simple color scheme define this card.
Hand made paper doilies add a bit of vintage charm.
 ~ Shine Bright ~
These four doilies were made from the same size circles and Kreaxions Punch #916. To get the smaller pair of doilies I used a craft knife to join the punched designs. The negative made a nice swirly frame for another project.
To add a bit of whimsy to this card I used a hexagon embossing folder to frame the sentiment.

Supplies:
Paper:Craftsmith, My Minds Eye
Metalic Rub:Ink-a-Gold
Ribbon:Stash
Embossing Folder:Darice
Punch #916 and Positioning Pieces:Kreaxions

It's time for some Vitamin Sea!
~ Wishes ~
For this card I used Craftsmith Dip Dyed paper collection.
First I inked and embossed a mermaid of gold.
Next, I splatted and dripped various shades of green mist over the lower half.
For the sea foam I patted modeling paste on with my finger tips.

Dream

I love the look of iridescent peacock feathers.
For this card I tried to duplicate that look with ink and an embossing folder.
~ Dream ~
The peacook embossed paper started out cream colored. I inked the inside of the embossing folder with lime pigment ink. After rolling the paper through the press I brushed it with layers of blue, purple, and lime inks. I finished it with one final layer of emerald green ink and some drying time.

Ink:Clearsnap
Embossing Folder:Lifestyle Crafts
