Chalkboard Mini

I've had the pleasure to once again participate in the May Arts Ribbon challenge.
This round I requested all red and white trim and layered it on black cardstock.

The instructions for the Mini-Album are featured on the Just Imagine Crafts blog.

The Ribbon Wrapped Case is this months Special Ops assignment on the SWAT blog.

Stop by both blogs for a quick project that will put a smile on the face of that special someone who has everything!

Looking In

~ Christmas Product ~

For this layout I used Carta Bella, "So this is Christmas."
These photos were taken during the summer but the tones were perfect for this paper line.
~ Looking In ~
I live in a rural area where traffic is not an issue. Throughout the summer my neighbor's dog would visit me in the evenings. She'd look in the screen door then wait for me to come out and play. She enjoyed being petted then would wander off to her next friend.
Supplies:
Paper:Carta Bella
Ink & Stamp:CTMH
Alpha & Ribbon:MME
Lace:Pink Paislee
Sewing Supplies:WeRMrK
Stars:Prima, Carta Bella, Denise P.
Gems:Michaels
Transparency:Little Yellow Bicycle
Circle Cutter:Kreaxions

Goodbye Chester

This year our family will be moving over the Christmas holiday. This means goodbye to our beloved ferret, Chester. We are sad to see him go, but found him a wonderful home and are happy knowing that someone else will be getting a ferret for Christmas.
~ Goodbye Chester ~
For the snowflake outline I cut an 8" circle and then traced the Star Template in the center. I used the points of the star to line up Punch #312 (with Insert A) so that the design was evenly distributed around the circle edge. I then used this punched circle as a mask for modeling paste.
This layout is my entry for the C'est Magnifique sketch.
Supplies:
Paper:Webster's Pages, Pink Paislee
Flowers:Recollections, Prima
Trim:Recollections
Mist:Ranger
Twine:Twinery
Brads:Recollections
Gems:Recollections, Jolees
Alpha:Echo Park
Tiny Type:MME
Modeling Paste:Liquitex
Circle Cutter, Punches, Star Template:Kreaxions

Deck The Halls!

SWAT Drill #21
A Christmas Carol
Today's challenge is to use a Christmas carol
for the title of your layout.
This one was a snap for me.
Our day-after-Thanksgiving tradition is
1.Pie for Breakfast
2.Pajamas all Day
3.Decorate for Christmas
Of course I snapped a photo of our hard work!
~ Deck the Halls ~

This project is also my entry for December's
Scrappy Friends Challenge.
Rochelle challenged us to use a song from 2013 on our layout. I chose the following line from Suit and Tie by Justin Timberlake.
"sit back and enjoy the light show"
Kristi's challenge was to make it sparkle. I used gold paint, glittery stickers, gold ribbon, sparkly twine, and paper with gold dots.
Brenda provided the sketch, which I turned twice to the right:

Supplies:
Paper:DCWV, Prima, Carta Bella
Stickers:MME
Alpha:Echo Park
Tiny Type:EK Success
Trim:May Arts Ribbon
Paint:Ranger
Laser Cut Corner:Blue Fern Studios
Punches:Kreaxions #304, #312, & #915
