Innocent?

I just love Karen's sketches! They give me so many ideas for adding layers to my projects! I took this photo of my son a few summers ago. It reminds me of the idea that all children look innocent when they are asleep.

Drill # 24

Sketch with Buttons 

Buttons always leave me wondering if I should:

1. Sew them on with floss

2. Tie them on with twine

3. Just use a dab of glue and call it good.

For this layout I decided that a glue would work best. I was going for colored bubbles and needed the transparent effect.

New Year's Resolutions

There are SO many things I plan to catch up with now that I have a substantial school break. But picking just one to illustrate is NOT hard. My goal is to spend more time with my kids, celebrating the wonderful young people they have become!

Fancy Frost

My favorite part of scrapping layouts is finding the right papers to accent the color combinations in my photos. I'd say that the sparkly paper from DCWV is just about perfect for this winter theme.

I decided to go for an all out glitz look to mirror the frost crystals in the photo.

To add to this theme I added dots of silver stickles to my chipboard.
