A Morning Like This

SWAT:Drill # 27
For my project I used modeling paste. I decided white just wouldn't do so I used my Dylusions mist to tint the paste before applying it over the stencil. I love the bright color that resulted.

Frugal Finds:Cookie Cutters

Practical Scrappers wants to remind you to dig in your stash of unwanted items and make something beautiful! Today we are using Cookie Cutters to inspire you.

This project was super easy and had my kids oooh-ing and aaah-ing over the result.

These are Christmas Cookie Cutters in a lovely forest green. But I wanted something white and blue for my bathroom. To I roughed up the finish a little and painted the cutter with 3 coats of white acrylic paint.
Then I strung beads on floral wire and and wrapped them around the "stump".
A suction cup for the mirror or window finished the job beautifully.
