Shine Bright

A little bit of layering and simple color scheme define this card.
Hand made paper doilies add a bit of vintage charm.
 ~ Shine Bright ~
These four doilies were made from the same size circles and Kreaxions Punch #916. To get the smaller pair of doilies I used a craft knife to join the punched designs. The negative made a nice swirly frame for another project.
To add a bit of whimsy to this card I used a hexagon embossing folder to frame the sentiment.

Supplies:
Paper:Craftsmith, My Minds Eye
Metalic Rub:Ink-a-Gold
Ribbon:Stash
Embossing Folder:Darice
Punch #916 and Positioning Pieces:Kreaxions

The sound of seagulls and the feel of a smooth shell in your hand...
It's time for some Vitamin Sea!
~ Wishes ~
For this card I used Craftsmith Dip Dyed paper collection.
First I inked and embossed a mermaid of gold.
Next, I splatted and dripped various shades of green mist over the lower half.
For the sea foam I patted modeling paste on with my finger tips.

Dream

I love the look of iridescent peacock feathers.
For this card I tried to duplicate that look with ink and an embossing folder.
~ Dream ~
The peacook embossed paper started out cream colored. I inked the inside of the embossing folder with lime pigment ink. After rolling the paper through the press I brushed it with layers of blue, purple, and lime inks. I finished it with one final layer of emerald green ink and some drying time.

Supplies:
Paper:Craftsmith
Ink:Clearsnap
Embossing Folder:Lifestyle Crafts
Twine:The Twinery

Thanks A Bunch

Design Team reveal on the Just Imagine blog today.
This month our themes are: Love and The Color Red
I chose to reveal red through the negative cut-outs from Punch # 604 and # 901.
~ Thanks A Bunch ~
For this card I cut a 4"x6" piece of white cardstock. I used Insert A with #901 as a border punch on the top and bottom. I then used #604 over the top of the border. I adhered the white cardstock over a red card blank. A self adhesive sentiment and some pop dots and my card was finished!

Supplies:
Paper:Recollections
Sticker:Bo Bunny
Punches #604 & #901:Kreaxions

Best Wishes

This card uses colors and shapes to recall a winter scene.
The glitter striped card base adds a touch of glamour.
~ Best Wishes ~
To shape the edges of the blue paper I used Kreaxions Punch #301. I punched a white strip of paper using the same punch then trimmed the inside edge into points. This I layered inside the frame. The bird and pine bough cluster are cut from Craft Smith paper using dies.

Supplies:
Paper:Craft Smith, Bo Bunny
Frame:Simple Stories
Bird Die:Momenta
Pine Bough Die:Poppy Stamps
Best Wishes Die:Elizabeth Craft Designs

Circle of Hearts

This circle card has all the right stuff!
Multiple layers of paper, lace, flowers, stitching, glitter...
So much fun to create!!!
~ Circle of Hearts ~
For this card I framed the glitter, polka dot paper with pink and then a layer of heart punched vellum. Vellum is easiest to cut when layered over another sheet of paper. This reduces it's tendency to buckle.

Supplies:
Paper:Craftsmith
Vellum:American Crafts
Trim:Webster's Pages
Stencil:Momenta
Modeling Paste:Liquitex
Flowers:Prima
Punch #905:Kreaxions
