How To Make Food Oil Mistakes Disappear

If you are messy in the kitchen then you will want to know how to make food oil mistakes disappear. I spilled cooking oil on my lounge pants. It was a sad day and I had much frustration as I looked down at my favorite comfy pants.
I have used ScraPerfect products for a year now, but I wasn't certain that they would fix my dilemma. Still, I had to try. Best Cleaner Ever is a non-toxic solvent and because I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin that really matters to me.
I sprayed down the grease stains and threw the pants in the laundry. The next day I loaded the washer and hoped for the best. Because it was a grease stain I hung them to dry, just in case the Best Cleaner Ever didn't quite do the trick.
They looked just fine, but sometimes you can't tell until a thing is completely dry. The next day they did indeed look oil free, but now they were stiff and COLD! I threw them in the dry for a heated fluffing.
What do you know! ScraPerfect products have done it again! My lounge pants are free to make me comfortable and warm. Thanks to the Best Cleaner Ever my skin didn't break out from the harsh chemicals found in most stain removers and solvents!

How To Make Hair Dye Mistakes Disappear

I love using brightly colored semi-permanent dyes on my hair. The down side...blue or purple ear tips. The instructions are clear about adding a layer of petroleum jelly to the hair line and ear tips. Somehow I still get dye on bits and pieces of me.
Most recently I smeared it on my arms while I was reaching for the nape of my neck. Don't judge my photos too harshly, I always dye my hair just before sleeping, the lighting was dreadful!
One of the design team members had used ScraPerfect's solvent to remove stains left from permanent color. I though, why not try it with semi-permanent. I spritzed Best Cleaner Ever on my arms and let sit 10 minutes. I washed with dish soap and
💥 POOF 💥
my purple stains disappeared.
As in COMPLETELY gone!!!!
I have never been so ecstatic, or so clean after a dying episode! (😏)
I have tried MANY cleaners to remove those stains in the past. Coconut Oil works the best but still takes several applications.
When I use the Best Cleaner Ever I know I am not absorbing dangerous chemicals with my skin. This product is:
Non-Toxic
Non-Hazardous
Biodegradable
and it has
No Harmful Fumes.
I'd say that's a WIN WIN situation!
Stop by the ScraPerfect online store and have some on hand for your next hair dyeing experience.

How To Make a Beautiful Model With Colorful Paint

Today I have a few tips and photos for how to use colorful paint to make a beautiful model. I had Spine Surgery in mid-July. To keep me occupied with out overdoing it my daughter suggested we assemble and paint this wooden St. Petersburgh Cathedral.
We have nearly the full collection of Deco Art Dazzling Mettalics paints and have been eager to use them on a project.
These wood models are difficult to assemble. They contain many pieces and they don't quite fit together right. We have done many so we were ready with a craft knife for trimming and hot glue for assembling. We use the hot glue more as a sealer that fills in for the pieces that aren't there.
We assembled in layers, fine tuning each piece to fit and lay properly before we painted. Two layers of acrylic paint give sufficient coverage. We always add a coat of paint to the back to avoid glaring edges.
For this model we purchased a string of LED lights. To create a glow I added vellum to the windows. ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever attached the vellum without leaving marks. Spreading a thin layer of the glue and letting it dry to a semi-gloss ensured perfect attachment.
One nights work was done in such a rush that it had to be resurfaced the next day. For this I used ScraPerfect's solvent, Best Cleaner Ever. I spritzed it on the pieces, let them sit for a few minutes, then rubbed off the layers of black and silver paint.
For our project we used 9 colors of paint in a variety of combinations. We completed the ground floor and central tower first. We used variations of that design to decorate the other towers. The spires are divided into 5 Purple/Gold, 2 Blue/Silver, 2 Green/Silver, and 2 Plum and Olive with Silver. The roof of the first floor is primarily Teal, and Black cleanses the pallet between layers of color.

Don't worry if your model leans a little or is missing pieces. The finished project is about the time spent together and the joy of accomplishment. Perfection isn't a necessary ingredient for happiness.

How To Make Stunning ATC's with Supplies on Hand

Here is how to make stunning ATC's with supplies on hand using ScraPerfect product to fill in the blanks. Crafting is one of my best stress relievers, but I don't always have time for a full blown project. ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) are only 2.5" by 3.5"  and anything goes. NO rules, NO need for extensive planning, just playing with the latest techniques and your favorite products.
~ Dragonfly ATC's ~
For the first set of ATC's I misted cotton and used it to layer colors on white card stock.
I stamped dragonflies on the cards then added a layer of gold rub-on. I re-stamped the dragonflies on the blue card since they weren't showing through so well.
The next step was was heat embossed stars and Transfer Foil for the dragonflies. The lower orange dragonfly had to be refoiled. The dragonflies for the blue card were outlined in foil. You can see the Best Glue Ever drying below.
The finished product features the words Happy and So Happy on the gold card and Dream on the blue card. When I first stamped the word Happy it smeared. I quickly added a spritz of the Best Cleaner Ever to a cotton round and wiped away the pigment ink. I re-stamped the word Happy and heat embossed it. I added Robin's Nest Dew Drops to the gold card and flourishes to the blue card using modeling paste and a stencil.
~ Happy & Dream ~
The second set of cards started with cotton dabbed with ink and rubbed on white cardstock.
I wanted just the butterfly body of a rubber stamp. I stamped the design on paper then cut out just the part I wanted. This created a mask that I could stamp through. For the wings I used a different stamp, twice. I added Stickles and Liquid Pearls to accent the wings.
I accented opposite corners of the cards with rub-ons and added rub-on words as well as layered washi tape. A couple stripes of hand stitching and dotted white ink finish off the second set of cards.
~ Pure & Genuine ~
The third set of cards are a lot brighter. I used 3 colors of highlighter and cotton to blend the inks.
I used a flourish stamp and a dragonfly stamp for images and gems to decorate. A white pencil toned down the vibrant colors a notch.
To add a frame I dipped my finger in white acrylic paint and edged the cards.
These last two cards depend less on technique and more on color to grab the viewers attention. They are simple yet still follow the dragonfly theme.
~ Hope & Adventure ~
Although these ATC's use widely different techniques they blend easily as a set. The dragonfly theme brings them together while the colors set them apart.
ScraPerfect Glue, Cleaner, and Foil made this project go smoothly.
